A Journey with Hemophilia B.
I would like to Introduce myself as Desh Deepak Sharma From Rupaspur Distt. Firozabad Uttar Pradesh (India) & Share my journey of life with Haemophilia. My D.O.B is 21 September 1996.Currently,I am registered at Delhi Chapter. I belong to a Middle class Family. My father is a Teacher and Mother is a House-Wife. I have two elder Sisters.
I was very shocked at that time when I knew that I am having Hemophilia and it is even the worst category ie. a severe Hemophiliac B Factor <=1%.At that Time I was 10 years Old. But I never quit. I started Doing Exercise & Yoga and it really Helped me a lot.I want to share that Even I have Hemophilia , I Won 5 gold medals including 3 state Level and 2 national Level Yoga Championship.
My Family always Motivate me a lot and Specially My Father Shri. Madan Gopal Sharma Who is Also 6 time Gold Medalist inspired me and He always told me that if God made You Rarest of rare then you must Have to Be an extra Ordinary . Other than yoga, I also did Cycling Daily Around 16 km to and fro to reach my School and College also. Cycling Helped me a lot .I did my Post –Graduation in Msc. Chemistry and Currently I am Pursuing Bachelor of Education with Maths and Science.
Actually I want to tell my friends that with yoga I Never find any need of Factor till My 17 years of age ,But One day Unfortunately I met with an Accident and then from that day Regularly i need factor whenever any sort of pain occur in my body. It is not common to have Knee ,elbow & Shoulder Joint Frequent bleeds but internal as well as External bleeding also.
As I have been through all the difficulties which a person who is having Hemophilia Suffers but Never give up. I want to Motivate My friends that Sometimes We face the Circumstances which are not in our Hand but we should Never Quit. One must adopt a good Habit of Yoga & Exercise as well as Cycling it will help to keep us Fit .We can Definitely Achieve our Goal with our Strong desire and Determination .
